You are invited to experience Awakening of the Ancestors Through Music, a powerful cultural celebration that honors the legacy and resilience of the African Diaspora. Guided by the theme “A Journey of Spirit, Song, and Soul”, this program calls audiences to reflect on the voices of the past while embracing hope for the future.
The evening will feature the Grammy Award winning ensemble Sounds of Blackness whose dynamic blend of gospel, R&B, soul, ancestral memory and contemporary creativity. Their music transcends performance, offering a call to remembrance, unity, and healing.
Through rhythm, harmony, and storytelling, this unforgettable evening will awaken ancestral voices and remind us that their struggles, triumphs, and faith continue to guide us today. Together, we affirm that music is not only art, but a sacred bridge that binds generations and strengthens community.
