Layce Dreamz has been performing locally, nationally and internationally since 2005. She is also an accomplished song writer with songwriting credit since 2000. Layce has had the opportunity to work and study with several Grammy award winners. She has been involved in music projects that have won Grammys and NAACP image awards. Layce Dreamz is a multi faceted talent being a vocal coach, music teacher, arranger with over 15 years of direct experience. Layce is also an experienced actor having graced the stages of the Capri theater, Stepping Stone Theater, Fitzgerald Theater, and the Guthrie Theater on more than several occasions. Layce has made a name for herself in the Twin Cities her hometown. Recently, Layce has been a vocalist with several bands performing in the Twin Cities including J Movement, Nooky Jones, and The Smitty Pit. As a vocalist, she has had the opportunity to perform at venues around the Twin Cities including Target Center, Dakota Jazz Club, MN Music Cafe’, Orchestra Hall, the Ordway, and many more internationally - including the Southport weekender festival with three time Grammy award-winning Sounds of Blackness. Layce is blessed to be one of the lead vocalist on the new Sounds of Blackness single Sick and Tired. Layce prides herself on writing and singing about real life experiences based on her personal and related experiences. Layce describes her sound as a unique blend of soul R&B and classic rhythms. Her energy personality and unique style as an entertainer is lively, naturally transforming, and captivating.
