Graydon Francis is a Liberian American singer and songwriter based in Minneapolis, MN. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from The University of Minnesota. Graydon currently works in the Nonprofit/Social Services sector where he is an active advocate for families experiencing homelessness.

Graydon started his professional musical journey in 2007 when he joined a Minneapolis based gospel group called “The Brighter Day Music Ministries”. In 2014, he joined “The Sol-Flower Collective” and through this collaborative he was offered the opportunity to share the stage with and perform with prominent artists in the Twin Cities. In 2016, he joined the 3 time Grammy Award Winning Sounds of Blackness. He was also in “The Night Before Christmas” a musical performed by the Sounds of Blackness.

In 2019, Graydon released his first single called “Brown Eyes”. He is currently working on his EP that he is planning on releasing later this year. Raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, Graydon started singing at an early age inspired by Luther Vandross, and Marvin Gaye music is engraved within his heart and soul.

Graydon has been an active member of the Sounds of Blackness since August of 2016.
